2023-2024 President's Message

Dear Esteemed FSPMA Members,

It is with immense pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my warmest greetings to each of you as the 64th appointed President of the Florida School Plant Management Association (FSPMA) for the year 2024. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Teresa Putnam, I come to you from the Lake County School District where I have been employed for 20+ years and currently hold the position as Central Warehouse Manager. I have been an active member of the FSPMA since 2005 and a board member since 2017. With a background rooted not only in warehouse operations but also in plant operations, grounds & food service I bring to this position a wealth of fervent commitment, experience, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. I am honored to step into the role as the 2024 FSPMA President with a dedication to serving our esteemed association and its members. As President, I am dedicated to fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within our association. Together, we will explore new avenues for professional development, share best practices, and advocate for policies that promote sustainable plant management practices across our school districts. I firmly believe that the strength of our association lies in the collective expertise and passion of its members. As such, I encourage each of you to actively engage with FSPMA, share your insights, and contribute your ideas as we navigate the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. In the coming months, I look forward to collaborating with each of you to advance the mission and objectives of the FSPMA. This year’s 2024 FSPMA theme is, “Opening Doors To Success – Stronger Together”. Our districts coming together, working together, sharing and receiving knowledge is the key to opening the doors to success, we are stronger together!

In closing, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for the trust and confidence you have placed in me to lead FSPMA in 2024. I am excited about the journey ahead and am eager to embark on this collective endeavor with each of you.
